I-75 fiery crash: What we know about wrong-way driver killed

Andrew T. Brunsman died in a wrong-way crash Sunday on Interstate 75 in Dayton when his car struck a tanker truck loaded with fuel.

The crash resulted in a massive fire that could be seen for miles.

Here is what we know now about Brunsman:

-He was 30 years old and living in Centerville after getting married in March, 2016.

Andrew T. Brunsman was killed when he drove the wrong way on Interstate 75 Sunday and collided with a tanker truck filled with gasoline.

-Brunsman entered I-75 the wrong way at the Third Street exit ramp about 4:40 p.m. Sunday, officers said. Investigators have not determinted why Brunsman did that.

-He once had his license suspended for six months after a suspected drunken driving incident in 2013. The charge of operating a vehicle intoxicated was dismissed in favor of reckless operation and speeding.

-Brunsman graduated from Beavercreek High School in 2005 after growing up in the city.

-Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until noon at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek, with the funeral service beginning at noon.
