Brittany N. Melton, 18, of Harrison Twp. had her $20,000 bond continued, under the electronic home detention program.
Tresean J. Smith, 22, of Dayton, was released from jail on his own recognizance.

A pair was indicted Tuesday in connection to a Riverside police pursuit earlier this month that injured an officer after his cruiser was rammed in the chase.

Brittany N. Melton, 18, of Harrison Twp., is charged with felonious assault, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, vandalism and a misdemeanor charge of assault on a police dog, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.
Tresean J. Smith, 22, of Dayton, is charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, the grand jury report stated.

Police identified Melton as the driver who fled from an Aug. 1 traffic stop on Valencia Street. The chase came to an end with the vehicle in a backyard off Hillstone Place.
Melton and Smith are no longer in custody, but both were summoned to appear Sept. 10 for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
