After Otter made contact with Bisaiz, who also was traveling with two women and two children younger than 5, he became suspicious and requested that K-9 Tora assist to sniff the air outside the vehicle. Tora indicated there were drugs in the vehicle, and future investigation revealed 21 pounds of meth along with a small amount of marijuana, the release stated.
Basaiz was arrested, booked into the Henry County Jail on multiple drug charges and her vehicle was impounded.
Her passengers were taken from the scene and allowed to leave.
