>> Butler County man pleads not guilty to 101 child pornography charges
According to court documents, law enforcement received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that suspected child pornography files had been uploaded to Lavery’s Dropbox account. Microsoft reported to NCMEC that Lavery’s IP address had been used to upload suspected child porn to the Bing Images search engine. Also, the video-sharing website Rabb.it reported Lavery shared suspected child pornography on the website.
In May 2018, law enforcement officers, who had a warrant, searched Lavery’s Kettering home, where they found more than 600 images and videos of children “engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including visual depictions of prepubescent children,” a release stated.
Lavery pleaded guilty to the charges in December 2018.
