Police and medics responded to a gas station on James H. McGee Boulevard Thursday around 8:30 p.m. after a car pulled into the gas station parking lot with a woman who had been shot.
The victim had a “substantial” amount of blood in the blood and buttock area, read a court affidavit.
A woman who was in the vehicle but was not shot told detectives that they were in a car at the intersection of Germantown Street and South James H. McGee Boulevard when a car driven by Martin pulled up on their right side, according to court documents.

“[The woman] stated she observed Ronald Martin fire the gun at the vehicle, striking the passenger door and striking [the victim],” read a court affidavit. “The vehicle then fled.”
Police found Martin and took him into custody as Wheatley and West Hudson avenues.
The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Further information about her condition was not available.
