A Montgomery County grand jury declined to indict a Dayton man today in connection to an incident July 25 at the Cornell Meat King Supermarket, 3509 Cornell Drive, in Dayton.

Fadi S. Afram, 26, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felonious assault after a second man reported to police that Afram cut him inside the store. The man suffered minor lacerations to his arm and leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said at the time.

FIRST REPORT (July 25)

A man is behind bars tonight after reportedly cutting another man during an argument this afternoon at the Cornell Meat King Supermarket.

A man reported that he was cut around 3:45 p.m. inside the store at 3509 Cornell Drive.

“The victim received some minor lacerations to his arm and leg,” Dayton police Sgt. Jeff Spires said.

Fadi S. Afram, 26, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felonious assault.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the sergeant said.
