Darrell Lamar Boyd Jr. was indicted Thursday by a Montgomery County grand jury for aggravated robbery with a three-year firearm specification, grand theft of a motor vehicle and failure to comply with order or signal of police officer.

Authorities say Boyd pulled a gun on a woman July 14 and demanded keys to her Chevrolet Malibu. He then allegedly was involved in a police pursuit that included officers from multiple jurisdictions. The chase ended in a crash in the 900 block of Upland Avenue in Dayton, with Boyd able to flee on foot and avoid arrest, police said.
