Man indicted in Warren County for human trafficking, rape

A Cincinnati man has been indicted in Warren County on 29 felony charges including rape, trafficking in persons and compelling prostitution.

David D. Barron, 38, of Cincinnati is also charged with promoting prostitution, abduction, aggravated possession of drugs, receiving stolen property, aggravated menacing, intimidation of a crime victim or witness, felonious assault and corrupting another with drugs.

Barron was arrested on May 2 in Mason after a traffic stop. He was initially faced drug charges and compelling prostitution as well as driving under suspension, open container, a turning violation, driving under suspension and failure to reinstate his drivers license, according to jail records.

The case was bound over from Mason Municipal Court on May 13.

The 29 charges were listed in Barron’s indictment Monday in Warren County Common Pleas Court. Details on the arrest and charges were not available.

His scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

He remained in jail Monday. Bond is set at $100,000 cash bond or surety.
