Man involved in 3 disturbances with same woman within 24 hours, police say

MONROE — A Cincinnati man was involved in three separate domestic disputes with the same woman within a 24-hour period, one shortly after he was released from jail, according to police.

Jason Bohl, 32, was cited for disorderly conduct Monday, April 12, following a disturbance with a 23-year-old New Richmond woman at a New Garver Road fast-food restaurant.

Dispatchers received a call at 7:06 a.m. that Bohl reportedly was beating a woman in a red Dodge pickup truck at McDonald’s, according to Monroe police Lt. Brian Curlis. At the time of the disturbance, Curlis said Bohl had just been released from the Butler County Jail in Hamilton following a disturbance at 4:51 p.m. Sunday, April 11, involving the same woman at Treasure Aisles flea market on New Garver Road in Monroe. He was picked up Sunday on a warrant for having no operator’s license through Middletown Municipal Court, according to court records and police.

For the Monday morning incident, Bohl was cited and is scheduled to appear at 3 p.m. April 26 at Mayor’s Court after the woman declined to pursue charges, Curlis said.

“Once the officers arrived on scene, he wouldn’t give them identification and he started being belligerent towards the officers.

“After we were done booking him, we released him back to her because she wanted him,” he said.

After the pair left, they traveled on southbound Interstate 75, when the truck apparently broke down and there was a disturbance on the side of the highway, according to officials.

When a state trooper pulled up behind them, Bohl reportedly fled into the woods. A dispatcher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Bohl was not being sought by troopers because the woman does not want to pursue charges against him.
