He was pronounced dead on Saturday, according to Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger.
The cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2008/09 GMC Acadia, Todd said.
The SUV should have heavy damage to the front passenger side, including the headlight and maybe the side view mirror, said Det. Zachariah Hastings, a Dayton police officer and investigator for Crime Stoppers.
The incident was reported by a passing motorist.
