Man killed in hit-and-run crash in Riverside identified

A man killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night in Riverside has been identified.

Terry Parsons, 60, of Riverside, was killed following the crash at Old Troy Pike and Ingleside Avenue, said Riverside Det. Adam Todd.

He was pronounced dead on Saturday, according to Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger.

The cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2008/09 GMC Acadia, Todd said.

The SUV should have heavy damage to the front passenger side, including the headlight and maybe the side view mirror, said Det. Zachariah Hastings, a Dayton police officer and investigator for Crime Stoppers.

The incident was reported by a passing motorist.
