Man steals school uniform from Family Dollar

An unidentified man on Friday stole three pants and one shirt of the Dayton school uniform from the Family Dollar, 40 N. James H. McGee Boulevard.

The man walked out of the store with the Highland clothing items draped over his shoulder around 3:35 p.m., according to the Dayton police report.

The man drove away in a maroon Mercury Grand Marquis with a license plate registered to a home that turned out to be vacant and abandoned in the 200 block of Oxford Avenue, according to the report.
