A man told Dayton police detective Rod Roberts he was lured to a warehouse in the 12000 block of Stanley Avenue to meet the Shakhbandarovs, where he had met them before to conduct business, according to an affidavit filed in Dayton Municipal Court obtained by our media partner WHIO.

The man said the Shakbandarovs accused him of selling faulty glass products 10 months earlier, took his cellphone and would not let him leave. He said that the men roughed him up and that Zakhadin Shakhbandarov had a knife and threatened to cut out his tongue or cut off his genitals if he called the police, the court document stated.
After he had been there about 20 minutes, an associate of the Shakbandavorvs arrived, and then not long later the man was given his cellphone back and he was allowed to leave.
The Shakhbandarovs, 31-year-old Ali, of Ray Street, 23-year-old Dzhalil and 45-year-old Zakhadin, both of Tail Oaks Court, remain in the Montgomery County Jail, where they have been held since their Feb. 18 arrests.
