Jarrelle Anderson, 20, of Dayton, and Darrius Pattson, 21, of Trotwood, are charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count each of kidnapping and aggravated burglary, all with three-year firearm and repeat violent offender specifications; plus having weapons while under disability for a prior violent offense and two misdemeanor counts of aggravated menacing.

Pattson also was indicted for cruelty to companion animals and grand theft of a motor vehicle for taking a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.
Anderson, Pattson and an unidentified teenage boy were arrested in January.
At one point while the suspects were inside the home, the family dog took a defensive stance in front of one of the children. That’s when one suspect “fired one shot, grazing the dog along the right side of his face. … The suspect then pointed his weapon on the children and yelled to keep the kids quiet,” a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office press release stated.

After stealing cash and rifles from the home, the suspects forced a woman into the family’s SUV at gunpoint. They made her withdraw money from an ATM before forcing her out of the vehicle in a Dayton alleyway, deputies said.
All three suspects remain in custody.
Pattson is held on $1 million bond in the Montgomery County Jail. His arraignment is Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Anderson is incarcerated in the Mansfield Correctional Institution. He was released was prison in August for a 2017 robbery conviction but his parole was revoked following his arrest. His arraignment is March 26 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
