Devin Johnson, 23, was armed with a knife and “acting erratically” when two officers responded to Bramble Park in Madisonville, Police Chief Eliot Isaac told our news partners at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati.

Johnson approached the officers holding an 11-inch butcher knife. Both officers told Johnson to drop the knife multiple times.
When Johnson continued walking towards the officers, one of the officers shot him three times.
Johnson remains in critical but stable condition at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
