Troopers seized more than 110 pounds of heroin and methamphetamine Wednesday during a traffic stop on Interstate 70.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol filed felony drug charges against 27-year-old Ashley N. Tramonte of Marion, N.C., the driver of a rented Penske truck.

Troopers stopped the truck around 10:30 a.m. for following too close near milepost 173 on I-70. The highway patrol reported observing criminal indicators, and called in a drug-sniffing K-9, which alerted to the vehicle. The drugs were found during a probable cause search, according to the patrol.
