A restaurant in downtown West Milton was robbed today.
Around 9:30 a.m. today, a man handed a cashier at Bianco’s Pearson House Restaurant a note demanding money and indicating he had a gun, according to police.
Officer Ross Grove of West Milton police said the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man fled on foot westbound across Ohio 48. He’s described as a tan white male in his late 30s or early 40s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with hood up, blue jeans, dark knit gloves, and glasses with gold rims, according to Grove.

A sign on the door of the restaurant, at 28 N. Miami St., simply says “Closed.”
