9 people charged in Fort Recovery shooting incident

The 17-year-old alleged drug dealer will face a charge of felonious assault, with additional charges pending, said Sheriff Jeff Grey.

The adults charged in the incident with felony robbery and obstructing official business are:

  • Julien Kocak, 19;
  • Samantha Ringo, 18;
  • Brandon Riley, 18;
  • Morgan Perry, 18; and
  • Kody Chilcoat, 19, all of Celina.

Dominic Disalvo, 18, of Celina, as well as a 14-year-old female from Rockford, were charged with felony robbery.

The two people shot originally told police they were walking in Celina when a car drove by and shot at them. A 16-year-old male shot is still hospitalized and will be charged upon release, Grey said.

Nine individuals, a mix of adults and juveniles, have been charged in a drug deal gone bad in the Celina area, said Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey.

Grey said six adults and two juveniles reportedly robbed a 17-year-old male trying to sell them a pound of marijuana. Police say the buyers never had the intention of paying for the drugs.

The incident happened about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Ambassador Park in Fort Recovery, in which the 17-year-old male reportedly shot one adult and one juvenile, according to Grey.

Those shot were taken to a Lima hospital. The adult was treated and released, and the juvenile remains hospitalized.

Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said he plans to release information regarding a shooting incident at Ambassador Park in Fort Recovery Thursday night.

Grey plans to release details during a press conference at 1 p.m. at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center, according to a press release.

No other details about the incident are expected to be released until that time.
