Reid, 17, is accused of fatally shooting Davion McGhee, 22, at Summit Square Apartments on Sept. 30.
The suspect is charged with two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and one count of felonious assault with serious physical harm. All of the counts include three-year firearm specifications.

A Dayton teenager wanted on a murder charge is at the Juvenile Justice Center downtown after his arrest late Thursday by Dayton police and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Keith Reid Jr., 17, was arrested at the Summit Square Apartments off Hoover Avenue. It’s the same complex where he is accused of fatally shooting 22-year-old Davion McGhee of Huber Heights.

McGhee’s father said he’s relieved Reid is in custody, but that he is still trying to come to grips with his son’s death.
“Even right now, I just don't believe it. My wife, she's just, we’re all taking it, she’s taking it extra hard,” he said.
McGhee said he knew some of his son’s friends, but never heard of Reid. He doesn't understand why anyone would want to harm his son.
“They don’t value life or nobody else’s life, didn't value my son’s life,” he said. “Anytime someone that young shoots somebody that young, it’s senseless.”
Prosecutors from juvenile and adult courts said that Reid would qualify for a mandatory bind-over to adult court because of his age and the seriousness of the charge.

Police consider a Dayton teenager wanted in connection to a fatal shooting armed and dangerous.
A murder warrant was issued by Montgomery County Juvenile Court for 17-year-old Keith Patrick Reid Jr.
He is wanted for delinquency murder and felonious assault for the Sept. 30 shooting death of Davion McGhee, 22, at the Summit Square Apartments.

Davion McGhee of Huber Heights died after being shot twice at Summit Square Apartments in Dayton.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said they received the homicide victim sometime Sunday morning.
McGhee was taken to Miami Valley Hospital to undergo emergency surgery, but died of his injuries.

According to a Dayton police report, the victim in the Summit Square Apartments shooting is identified as 22-year-old Davion McGhee of Huber Heights.
McGhee was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, but hospital officials said they would not release any information on his condition.
Police at the scene collected evidence, including 9mm casings, the report stated.
A suspect was not listed on the report.

A 911 caller told dispatchers she heard gunshots and saw a man on the ground at the Summit Square Apartments.
The woman, who told the dispatcher she did not want to give her name and get involved, said she did not see the man shot nor the shooter. She said she only heard three rapid shots: “Pop, pop, pop.”

A 22-year-old man who was shot twice is undergoing emergency surgery tonight after he was rushed to Miami Valley Hospital.
The victim’s injuries are life-threatening, a Dayton police sergeant at the Summit Square Apartments shooting scene said.

One person was shot tonight at the Summit Square Apartments.
Police and medics were called shortly before 7:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting at the complex off Hoover Avenue.
