Police ask for help identifying person who broke into Washington Twp. church

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a person who broke into a construction trailer and then the main building of the Centerville Christian Fellowship at 700 East Spring Valley Pike in Washington Township on May 1.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office shared security camera footage and photos of the person, and said that they  took a plastic case containing a drill and drill bits.

Police asked that anyone with information on the break-in or the person in the video to contact Detective Linda Shutts at 937-432-2765, or the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center at 937-225-4357.
