Robber steals cash from Speedway in Kettering with kitchen knife

A robber stole a small amount of cash from the Speedway at 1224 East Stroop Road after holding the clerk up at knifepoint, according to Kettering officials.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with an athletic build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. He used a kitchen knife to rob the store.

No other patrons were in the Speedway at the time of the robbery.

INITIAL REPORT:

Police are investigating a report of a robbery at the Speedway at 1224 East Stroop Road in Kettering.

No one was injured in the incident, and no patrons were believed to be in the gas station at the time, according to Kettering officials.
