Police: Man punches woman in face, steals money

Police are asking the public for help to identify a man who punched a woman in the face and stole money from her.

The strong-arm robbery happened around 3:20 a.m. Sept. 17, at the BP gas station, 433 S. Main St., according to Dayton police.

The suspect told the victim he was hungry and asked for money. He punched her when she turned. The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall man between 30 and 40 who weighted 160 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray ball cap with a skull on front, a red and gray striped button-down shirt, blue jeans and red and black athletic shoes.
