Three women were arrested Wednesday in an early morning drug raid in Sidney.

Police seized cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia in the raid of a home around 7:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Miami Avenue, according to a release from Sidney police Capt. J A Tangeman.

Gloria Pierce, 47, and Amanda Weiler, 31 were arrested and booked into the Shelby County Jail on suspicion of felony drug possession.

Brandi J. Hall, 37, was arrested on an outstanding Miami County warrant and is being held in the Miami County Jail.

Additional charges are under review in the case, Tangeman said.

The Sidney-Piqua Tactical Response Team secured entry into the home because it “was deemed a high risk to officer’s safety,” the release said.
