The victim was stabbed before he was struck by a car and was heavily bleeding, the caller said.

“He was stabbed in the neck,” the man who called 911 told dispatchers.

The caller said he did not see the man get hit, but heard a loud boom.

The suspect fled the scene and is not in custody, police said.
