Police: 2 take cash from register at Beverage Palace in Miami Twp.

UPDATE @ 10:38 p.m.: The two white male suspects -- one described as tall, the other short -- took cash from a register at the Beverage Palace in Miami Twp. after the clerk refused their request for money and turned away to help a drive-through customer, police said.

One of them had a note, which was not given to the clerk and not left at the business on Kingsridge Drive, said police, who are working to enhance surveillance video to help them identify the invaders.

They showed no weapons and left on foot, police said.

INITIAL REPORT

Police were called tonight to a robbery at Beverage Palace.

The robbery was reported around 9:15 p.m. at the business, 8980 Kingsridge Drive.

Miami Twp. police said there were two robbers, and that they handed employees a note demanding money before they made off with cash.

There was no weapon displayed, and no one was hurt.
