Police announced the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Jones.
On March 2, police responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Northcrest Drive at Eagle Ridge Apartments.
#UPDATE #ARRESTED - The U.S. Marshals #SOFAST Task Force arrested Karlton Jones, who was wanted for murder & felonious assault from an incident on Northcrest Dr. earlier this month that left Chendo Lamont Buford, Jr. dead.

Buford, 26, was found in the street with gunshot wounds, according to a court affidavit.
He died at the scene.

“Jones’ cellphone was left at the scene and he was captured on video and identified by other witnesses that saw him prior to the shooting,” an affidavit read.
Two days later, U.S. Marshals announced they were looking for Jones in connection to Buford’s death.
