Suspected meth lab at Butler Twp. Red Roof Inn

UPDATE @4:35 a.m.

Butler Twp. police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to a Butler Twp. motel Thursday night after a suspected meth lab was found.

Chemicals were found in a room at the Red Roof Inn on Miller Lane, prompting police to respond, according to a release.

A BCI agent responded to the scene and removed the hazardous materials.

No arrests have been made.

We’re hearing that police and fire officials are investigating a suspected meth lab at the Red Roof Inn Dayton North Airport, on Miller Lane.

An employee said police have been at the facility since about 9 p.m. because of the discovery of a suspected meth lab and the activity is focused on what is being described as the first building.

One caller to our newsroom, who said she is a guest at the inn, 7370 Miller Lane, reports that officers are dressed in gas masks and that guests are being moved.
