In a response to a request for dash-cam video by this news organization, Patrol public affairs commander Lt. Robert Sellers wrote: “No OSP troopers were involved with the pursuit. Our crash reconstruction team was called to assist Troy Police with the investigation of the crash. The Troy Police Department is handling all traffic and criminal charges.”
The crash killed Anthony Hufford of Englewood, who was pulling out from a driveway when the stolen fleeing pickup truck hit him.

Troy police initiated the pursuit, which began about 4 p.m. Monday, and officers from Tipp City and sheriff’s deputies from Miami County joined in the area of state Route 571, according to the sheriff’s office.

An Ohio Dept. of Transportation spokesman said their cameras do not record, so there likely isn’t any video of the chase. This news organization is seeking video of the pursuit.
