The official stated that they have notified the resident’s family and that the Shianna Bailey, the accused employee, has been suspended.
INITIAL REPORT:
A Dayton woman is accused of hitting a resident at a Harrison Twp. assisted living center where she worked, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
Shianna Bailey, 39, was indicted Tuesday on one count of patient abuse, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report. She will be arraigned March 10 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

The allegation involved a resident on Aug. 18, 2018, at Spring Hills Singing Woods, 140 E. Woodbury Drive in Harrison Twp., according to the indictment.
Bailey was an aide at the facility, according to the prosecutor’s office. It is not clear if she is still with the assisted living center.

A Spring Hills Singing Woods representative wasn’t immediately available for comment Tuesday.
According to the facility’s website, Spring Hills provides memory care assisted living.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is investigating the case.
