Calling Jordan a “danger to the community” who preys on women and shows a “pattern of sexual misconduct,” U.S. District Court Judge Walter Rice said a custodial sentence was needed for punishment and to deter others.

Rice also ordered that Jordan to pay restitution of $1,356.95; that he must perform 100 hours of community service or job training upon release, that he register as a sex offender and undergo sex offender treatment.
Rice ordered Jordan to undergo periodic polygraph examinations, a mental health assessment, surrender his concealed carry permit, take a course in critical thinking skills, undergo intensive monitoring, have limited cell phone use and have no contact with the victim.

Rice allowed Jordan to voluntarily surrender when advised to by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons in the next 20 to 40 days. He will remain on electronic monitoring.
Jordan’s attorney Brock Schoenlein has said his client “doesn’t remember what he is alleged to have done” and therefore he didn’t lie to investigators.
At a previous hearing this month, the victim who was younger than 21 at the time of the incident mockingly thanked Jordan for her anxiety, major depression, voices in her head that won’t go away, suicidal thoughts and that she no longer likes Christmas parties.

A plea agreement Jordan had with prosecutors stipulated a sentence from community control up to 87 months (7¼ years) in exchange for other charges to be dismissed. The statutory maximum sentence for committing this federal crime is up to life in prison.
