Quincy's restaurant has applied to the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Liquor Control for a license to serve beer.

The restaurant — at 865 N. Main St. in the former Lou’s Broaster Hut — opened in April 2016. It operated previously at 3907 W. Third St. Quincy’s offers a variety of fried fish dinners, including cod, perch and whiting, and serves shrimp and chicken dinners as well. Broasted chicken and potatoes are also available.

The application filed Aug. 18 would allow Quincy’s to serve beer only — not wine or spirits — potentially until 1 a.m., according to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control web site.

Quincy’s owners declined to respond to questions about the license application.
