On Dec. 31, three people left a group home in Clayton and were offered a ride by an unknown man who reportedly offered them an alcoholic drink and took them to a house in the 1700 block of Kensington Drive in Dayton.
While at the home, Boyd gave two of the reported victims marijuana, crack cocaine and acid, according to court records. He reportedly engaged in sexual activity with the same two victims and then paid them.
Sometime between New Year’s Eve and Jan. 2, the three victims were involved in a crash while driving Boyd’s vehicle.
“As a result of this accident, Boyd physically assaulted [one of the victims] and placed a gun to the rear of her head and lower back and made verbal threats to [her],” read an affidavit. “[Another victim] was in the basement at the order of Boyd and attempted to exit the basement during this assault but was aggressively stopped by Boyd and ordered back into the basement.”
Police obtained a search warrant for the house and recovered three guns, 540 grams of suspected cocaine and 492 grams of marijuana.
Boyd’s bond was set at $500,000 on Monday, according to court records. His next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 12.
