The incident stemmed from a dispute between Blair and another person, the release said. Multiple vehicles were struck, but no gunshot wounds were reported. The incident took place on May 14.
Blair was indicted on May 23. At the time of the incident, Blair was on probation, having previously been convicted of burglary in 2016. Blair was also sentenced to four years in prison for a federal weapons offense last year.
“Multiple vehicles were struck as a result of this defendant’s actions,” Heck said. “Thankfully, no one was shot even though this shooting occurred on a busy highway during rush hour traffic.”
