Dayton police announced the results of “Traffic Safety Enforcement” during Thanksgiving week, which consisted of increased saturation patrols across the city.

In total, police said they made 111 traffic stops, 77 of which resulted in warnings.

One driver was cited for driving while intoxicated, 33 for driving without a license or with a suspended license, 12 for child or adult safety restraint violations, nine for speeding and 29 for unspecified violations.

Police originally intended to conduct a sobriety checkpoint, but this plan was switched to enhanced patrols to allow officers to focus on multiple locations.
