Dayton Police ask for help identifying assault suspect

The Dayton Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect in a felonious assault.

The suspect, who appeared on security camera with a woman, attacked and punched a victim multiple times April 29 at the Shell gas station at 4125 W. Third St., Dayton Police reported.

The suspect stands between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, has a medium build and was driving a maroon Chevrolet Impala with temporary tags.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has information is urged to call Dayton police at 937-333-COPS (2677) or to remain anonymous, call Miami Valley Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP (7867).
