With Governor DeWine banning sit-down service at restaurants across the state of Ohio amid the Coronavirus pandemic, many restaurant owners and workers are wondering how they will make ends meet.

Local restaurants are working to adapt, developing new menus and plans for take-out and delivery service, but one owner is taking it a step further.

“We went around today to share our menus with everyone downtown and they gave us theirs,” Jimmie Brandell posted to the Jimmie’s Ladder 11 Facebook page.

“So if you’re stopping in to pick up an order with us take a look at our front window and support our friends by grabbing carryout with them too!”

He went on to tag the Facebook pages of various restaurants in the Oregon District and other areas downtown.

“All tips will be donated to our staff that will be out of work due to the closure,” he added.
