Some DeVry University students will be receiving refund checks this summer after it was determined some may have been duped by false advertising that ran from Jan. 1 2008 through Oct. 1 2015.
The United States Federal Trade Commission will send refund checks to people before the end of summer, according to the FTC’s website. The payouts are part of the FTC’s $49.4 million settlement with DeVry over “deceptive advertising.

DeVry operates four locations in Ohio, including ones in Dayton, Columbus , Cincinnati and in Seven Hills, Ohio, near Cleveland, according to DeVry’s website. The Dayton-area office is located at 3610 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek
