Dickey’s Barbecue Pit set to open Springboro location

Texas-headquartered Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is set to add a location in the Miami Valley later this year.

Springboro city officials told the Dayton Daily News that the barbecue food chain plans on opening a store on North Main Street, where the Graeter’s Ice Cream scoop shop was previously located.

The restaurant told city officials they will file for permits in August. There is no official date for the restaurant to open.

There are more than 530 locations in 43 states. The restaurant chain has several locations in Ohio, including in South Lebanon and Mason in Warren County.

Dickey’s officials did not respond to calls for comment.
