WSU Receives Monetary Gift For School Of Medicine

Wright State University received a big gift from a local philanthropist.

Oscar Boonshoft donated $28.5 million to the school of medicine. The university will name the school after Boonshoft.

The donation will be used to create state of the art medical education facilities and expand its scholarship program.

Officials at WSU said the gift will be a major boost to the economic health of the region.
