Schrader said she was surprised by the “intensity that people greeted” her with at Wright State. While she said she felt a lot of pressure coming into the job, she said meeting people who wanted to rally around her as a leader took some of that pressure off.
In her first year on campus, Schrader intends to seek out opinions for what Wright State should be over its “next 50 years.” It will culminate in something of a revamped strategic plan for the university that Schrader said will start to come to fruition late next spring.
