A 33-year-old Fairfield man was charged Wednesday morning on four drug-related felonies, two of which were for trafficking.

Craig Douglas is facing possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine and trafficking of both drugs, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Douglas was arrested at 8 a.m. after the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics (BURN) Task Force Sheriff executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 6000 block of Boymel Drive in Fairfield.

The task force said it collected 25 grams of fentanyl, 30 grams of cocaine and 30 pressed fentanyl pills. Also, $3,200 and an AR-15 pistol were recovered from the apartment, according to a police statement.

All four charges are first-degree felonies and he was arraigned Thursday in Fairfield Municipal Court. His cash/surety bond was set at $100,000 and assigned a public defender, according to court records. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Feb. 6.
