Kasich, who left office earlier this month, is now represented by a Los Angeles-based talent agency and is a CNN contributor.

He is no stranger to college campuses. After leaving Congress in 2000, Kasich landed a $50,000-a-year gig as a fellow at Ohio State University. The fellowship appointment also paid Kasich’s long-time political aide Don Thibaut $20,000-a-year.

Otterbein University, which is in Kasich’s hometown of Westerville, this month announced Kasich’s appointment as a senior fellow. Kasich will not be paid by the private university, though he will have an office on campus and may serve as a guest lecturer, an Otterbein University spokeswoman said.
