While most shoppers taking advantage of holiday sales won’t start until Black Friday, there are plenty of opportunities now.

For shoppers who may want discounted goods without standing in long lines for doorbusters, many stores are already offering major sales online. But beware, many aren’t as good as the in-store doorbusters will be on Friday.

Right now Kohl’s is offering Black Friday deals online, along with $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent and a 15 percent off coupon. But major deals at the store begin Thursday at 5 p.m. While a Shark Navigator vacuum cleaner that originally costs $220 is only $150 online now, it will only ring in at $99.99 at stores on Thursday night.

Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops also have their five-day sale running now, including Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. But for six hours beginning at 5 a.m. Friday, extra doorbuster deals will hit shelves.

JCPenney stores will open at 2 p.m. Thursday, but online sales are already underway.

Red Card members at Target can also get early access to deals online now.

At 10 p.m., Walmart’s online Black Friday deals will start, though some pre-Black Friday options are already online. While physical locations will be open all day, the sales will begin at 6 p.m.
