Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.
The hearse was manufactured by Miller-Meteor, which was based in Piqua. The vehicle was sold at an auction for $176,000 to a Boulder, Co., car collector and real estate dealer.
Miller-Meteor began manufacturing hearses and ambulances in 1913 and remained a vital business in Piqua into the mid-1970s.
