IHOP’s ‘Kids Eat Free’ offer starts today

Breakfast chain also brings back “Bakery Favorites,” including Cupcake Pancakes

IHOP unveiled a "Kids Eat Free" promotion starting today through May 6.

From April 11 through May 6, with every adult entrée ordered between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., children 12 and under will receive a free entrée from the “Just for Kids” menu at participating IHOPs, a spokeswoman for the breakfast restaurant chain said in a release. Kids can choose from items such as a kids’-sized chicken and waffles or grilled cheese sandwich, or they can top their own chocolate chip pancakes with powdered sugar and whipped cream.

We contacted the region’s lone IHOP restaurant, at 2460 N. Fairfield Road in Beavercreek, this afternoon (April 11), and a manager there confirmed that his location is indeed participating in the “Kids Eat Free” promotion.

IHOP also announced the return of “Bakery Favorites” — breakfast-dessert combinations that include frosting-topped Cupcake Pancakes, cream-cheese-filled Red Velvet Crepes, and Cinnamon Swirl Brioche French Toast. The special items will be available at IHOP Restaurants from April 11 to June 6.

The local IHOP is among the “participating restaurants” offering the Bakery Favorites, a store manager said today.

The Beavercreek IHOP restaurant is the first of a planned seven locations in the Dayton region, a spokeswoman for the Dayton region’s IHOP franchisee told this news outlet earlier this year.
