Here are five things to know about the new facility.
Not just a field: The concession building houses a multitude of useful amenities for the athletes and the public: A training room featuring a partnership with Kettering Health Network, two team rooms, restrooms with access for the public outside of official school events, concessions partnered with Grinders and storage for field and facility maintenance.
Designed with safety in mind: The field at Lane Stadium is synthetic turf built with concussion padding designed to lessen impact shock and extend the life of the field. The field is lined for four sports: soccer, field hockey, boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse, which have different distances between the goals.

Inclusive environment: Lane Stadium is an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant facility, including parking and a ramp to the stands that seat 700.
Inviting all transportation: Bicycle parking is facilitated with a metal sculpture bike rack integrated into the sidewalk on the north side of the field.

For public use: The track will be open to the community during the day and closed at night. Restroom are accessible from the north side of the concessions building.
