Janet Wirth to be next 88th Air Base Wing vice director

Janet M. Wirth has been selected as the vice director, 88th Air Base Wing, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She is responsible for assisting in managing a wing comprised of more than 5,000 active-duty, Air Force civilians and contractor employees.

Wirth began her career with the Air Force in 1987 as a financial management trainee in the Aeronautical Systems Division. She has diverse acquisition and base-level management background in all phases of the acquisition life cycle at various organization levels. She has served in various positions as an acquisition cost analyst and estimator, program analyst, scheduling analyst, budget analyst, financial manager, chief financial manager and base-level deputy comptroller.
