K99.1FM has been nominated for Marconi Medium Market Station of the Year.

The winners will be announced Thursday, Sept. 22, at the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show.

The award show will be held at the Omni Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

Radio stations and personalities honored that night were selected by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy.

The NAB awards were established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi.

These prestigious awards recognize stations and individuals for their excellence and performance in radio.
