“Turkey Hill’s successful and recognizable ice cream and beverage products have the potential for greater growth outside of our company. We want to ensure Turkey Hill has every opportunity to meet its full potential,” said Erin Sharp, group vice president for Kroger Manufacturing.
More than 800 people are employed by Turkey Hill, which mainly operates out of a Conestoga, Pennsylvania, manufacturing and distribution facility.

Kroger owns 38 food manufacturing plants, including 19 dairies, that produce "Our Brands" products for Kroger's stores and Turkey Hill branded products sold nationwide.
Kroger also sold its convenience store business earlier this year.
Kroger has 44 supermarkets, 12 locations with ClickList services and another 10 locations with Starbucks services in the region. The popular grocer employs more than 8,100 associates in the Dayton region.
