Dinsmore signed a 10-year lease at the Fifth Third Center and began construction to build out the 12th floor and added a section to the 14th floor.
Officials said the firm will invest a total of $8 million over the 10-year period. Dinsmore received a development grant from the city of Dayton in September 2014 to assist with the project.
Dinsmore opened the Dayton office in 1987 and expanded its presence in 2008 by merging with Chernesky, Heyman & Kress P.L.L. The firm has maintained two Dayton offices since 2008.
Cincinnati-based Dinsmore & Shohl has offices in 17 cities throughout Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. The firm, in existence for more than a century, employs more than 575 lawyers.
