Rodizio Grill reopened at Liberty Center in Liberty Twp. under new ownership after a six-month hiatus.

Rodizio Grill reopened its Liberty Center location Monday.

The restaurant is now under franchise ownership of George Chaposky, who has been operating Rodizio Grill in Columbus for nearly six years.

Located at 7630 Gibson St. inside the mega retail and dining destination Liberty Center, the restaurant in October said it was closing for renovations.

Founded in 1995, Rodizio Grill was the first Brazilian “churrascaria” steakhouse in the United States. The concept features rotisserie grilled meat, expertly seasoned and carved tableside by traditionally dressed Gauchos.

The meats are complemented with a salad bar, hot side dishes, fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and homemade desserts. There’s also a wide array of fresh-pressed juices, homemade Brazilian Limeades, cocktails and a wine list featuring a variety of Brazilian imported wines.
